Queen Size Bed Dimensions

However, it is not practical for me to buy the biggest I could find because I have a small apartment and I don't have a lot of money to splurge on a bed. I have other basic needs such as food and rent.

So, I will help you go through the different sizes in the hopes that, like me, you become the master of bed. Let us start with the dimensions:

* Twin Bed = 39 x 75 inches or 99 x 190 cm

* Extra Long Twin Bed = 39 x 80 inches 99 x 203 cm

* Full Size Bed = 54 x 75 inches 137 x 190 cm

* Queen Size Bed = 60 x 80 inches or 153 x 203 cm

* King Size Bed =76 x 80 inches or 198 x 203 cm

* California King Bed = 72 x 84 inches or 182 x 213 cm

As I've mentioned, I like my bed big and wide. That means I like the king one but it is actually more practical to buy a queen size bed because if you consider the increase in price from queen to king, it is not commensurate to the increase in size. The difference in personal space that a king will give you from a queen is less than ten inches but the prices increase is more than ten thousand. That is not practical.

A queen, like a king, has additional support underneath. Unlike other beds that have four legs, this one has 6. So you get the same amount of security that a king will provide.

There is another kind that is called the Olympic Queen but I don't know what the difference is yet as I have never seen one nor examined one.
